  • Hitting, fielding & baserunning, and catching camps

NOTE: Our U8 team runs a less frequent schedule than described below.

September through October (optional):

• Most of our team will host a weekly practice to begin developing as a team as we head into the upcoming season

• If team availability allows, KMLFC does budget for teams to be in one fall weekend tournament (typically a local 1 or 2 day tournament)

November through December (optional):

• Most teams are off during this time, but Kettle Moraine High School's softball program offers a low cost December camp that is once a week. Enjoy the holiday season!

January through March (optional):

• Most teams will have 1 to 2 optional practices per week during this period. We use gym space to work on fielding and the club does use outside facilities for weekly hitting practices.

• The club does offer partially funded speed/strength/agility training through be Sports Performance in Delafield (new in 2025)!

• The club does offer a partially funded 8 week pitching program for our pitchers through a current KMHS coach and former KMHS pitcher (new in 2025)!

• Parents are polled at the beginning of the new season to understand what additional opportunities are of interest.

April - July (in season)

• Welcome to softball season! Our teams will practice 2x per week. As June approaches this may go down to 1x per week depending on tournament schedule.
• Teams participate in 4 - 5 tournaments during the season.
  • 2 tournaments for U8 with additional opportunities to play at some great local stadiums (Helfaer field).
• Teams participate in 6 league doubleheaders through the Wisconsin Fastpitch League.
